I Climbed an Active Volcano with Only Three Weeks of Training

A short film about wanting something, climbing for it, and what the mountain decides to give you instead.

A year ago I was unemployed with nothing really going on.

This is not a vlog.

I gave myself three weeks to train for Acatenango, a 13,000 foot volcano in Guatemala that sits next to Fuego, one of the most active volcanoes on earth. You climb the first one mostly in order to look at the second one.

Three weeks is not a lot of time for a mountain that tall.

Shot by Eric D'Amico and me, on the mountain, while also climbing the mountain. Everything in the film had to be carried up and then carried back down.
